summer solstice

oo its the solstice today. it was nice and sunny. shame i missed the sunrise. ah well, there's always tomorrow morning.

in the meantime i'll just have to look at my windows desktop, which is stonehenge.

it's years since i've been to stonehenge. i have a vague memory of visiting it as a tiny child, but very vague. i have driven past it since, and at least once been to a festival near to it if not actually at it... maybe i've never been!
