the corner of the garden

the far corner of the garden is under a large lime tree, which sucks all the life out of the lawn.

when we moved in, there was a compost heap in that corner, which i removed with great labour and found that the concrete path actually went under it right into the corner beside the tree. we planted some flowers there that year, making use of the compost!

i dunno what to do with it, really. i'll dig in some compost from the bin, but then plant what? maybe i should let clementine deal with it...
